Hi,

I have been asked to help to move a yaf.net forum to a new server. I was wondering if there was any guides or tutorials to help? The new server will be "Windows 2008 R2 with SQL Server Standard 2012" - I presume that will be fine

I do realise the ambiguity of the question(s) but any help would be greatly appreciated

Anyone at all that can help?

I have a DB backup and I can restore that. I have the files backup and I can restore that. I then get error after error from there.

Thanks - as stated above, I've managed to create a backup and restore the database but am having multiple errors from usernames/emails not being recognised to other random bits and pieces

It would be very helpful if there was a server transfer guide or the ability to easily transfer between different installations
