sub forums with the same name, forum color

Hallo together.
Sorry for my bad english. I hope im in the reight forum.
Im very new to yaf. I have a little private forum (for a dog rescue information portal), ther we have x forums, all with the same sub forum (for new dogs in the diferent main forums that a for the diferent dog groups). In yaf i find no way to name the subforums all equal. Is there a way?

Also in my old forum i simple can change the color (we have some kind of brown for the corresponding homepage), i there a way in yaf?

There is a Setting "Allow Forums With Same Name" which you need to enable. You can find it in the Host Settings Page, Tab Permissions.

Do you want to define a different color for each forum, or should all have the same color?

Forum table has Style column not in use. Just in case.

thanks, but i cant find it:

I have choose a grey (Grey-Grey) style for the moment. And like that I want to have a dark brown instead of the dark grey, a middle brown instead of the light grey and a light brown instead of the white (or white, i will see)...

That Setting was added in YAF Version 1.9.5.5

You need to change all the gradiant colors (In the theme.css in the folders themes\GreyGrey\) from

background: url('ButtonHover.png') top repeat-x #4b4b4b;
	background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, from(#757575), to(#4b4b4b));
	background: -moz-linear-gradient(top,  #757575,  #4b4b4b);
	background: -o-linear-gradient(top,  #	592a0a,  #4b4b4b);

This is the Main Header.. to something like this

background: url('ButtonHover.png') top repeat-x #431f07;
background: -webkit-gradient(linear, left top, left bottom, from(#592a0a), to(#431f07));
	background: -moz-linear-gradient(top,  #592a0a,  #431f07);
	background: -o-linear-gradient(top,  #592a0a,  #431f07);

Thank you for the help with the colors, it works fine.
But i still have problems with forums with the same name. We now have the newest version. I have fount the checkbos and checked.
Now 2 Forums in diferent categories can have the same name. But i have a problem with to subforums of to diferent forums in the same category with the same name, it is not working. I dont get e normal error message to tell me that it is not possible, i get a error page:

"There has been a serious error loading the forum. No further information is available.

Please contact the administrator if this message persists.

Note: If you are the administrator, and need help with this problem, please visit this url: Turn off CustomErrors in your web.config.
Try Again"

can i rename to subforums equal? or is this not possible?
