Hey Vishnu, a quick search will reveal tons of posts on this .. cheers, drew..

frankly and with all due respect, the display should be username, that is why it is created and used, to uniquely identify a user. This is what folks expect, anything else and you will likely have an admin nightmare on your hands. drew..

this is promising stuff folks, thanks! quick note, to access the forum, go to the main url, then look for the forum. Currently you need to register to access the forum. I would suggest a re-write of "If you want access to the Smallbizserver.Net forums you will need to register first. After you have registered you will be able to read and write!"... the last little part being a bit comical, sort of, kind of.. Ü thanks again for the efforts, drew..

One nice feature of YAF is the small icon leading us to the most recent post. Perhaps the same sort of idea could be used to indicate a 'sticky' post. The average forum user (at least in my arena) gets confused by this. Some small icon might be preferable? quick note: in search for "Sticky" i ran into this post: http://forum.yetanotherf...=posts&m=5192#5192. This is a great reason why the search results should be changed to only show a small number of lines, just enough to entice us to check it out. As well, posts like that should lead to some form of warning about revoking the right to post. Worst yet: a reply tha t includes that whole message should lead to an automatic roadside suspension, holy bad etiquette batman!

hi andrew, thanks for the efforts, when i have time i would love a look. I will PM you. And TBxNuke, perhaps a clear explanation to help everyone understand your position might be more beneficial to the forum? thanks, drew..

hi guys, hopefully i don't sound like i don't want to help, but there are numerous posts on these forums with examples of web.config edits for dnn. For any of us to help, we need explicit questions, to help us home in on your issues. Given that yaf and dnn are .net-based, statements about java versions likely won't get you too far here , we need some real problems to try and solve, cheers, drew..

thanks, and back at you, the product is still very viable. If only it where in vb.net, more of us could help. I have been asked to take on a few C# ideas, and if i get my head around it enough to help in the coding arena, i will! welcome back, drew..
