Hello all,
I was just wondering what the status is on getting the latest beta code to be a DNN module. I am not really a full programmer (I am a OS/hardware guy with scripting experience only) so I have not tried to make it work. I have been running YAF for a long time on my personal site and am currently running 1.9.1.8.
Thanks!

The first time they go to the forum, it creates a YAF account

The database information is the same information that DNN uses. Same user, password and database name.
Looks like the last option to me.

Upload the whole downloaded zip as a module to DNN

No, log in as Host. Under the Host menu item ther eis a modules defenition link. that takes you to a list of installed modules. Add a new module and upload the zip file. DNN takes care of everything for you.
Add it to a page as you see fit.

YAF can be run inside of DNN, just download the proper build. It is just like any other DNN module for installation except for editing the web.config with some addition information.

Any way there can be a checkbox in the Admin settings to remove the statistics block on the main page?

In the dnnyafnet.config is the connection string. Put the same db, username and pasword as your DNN is using. I put that file right in the root of DNN with the web.config.

I think there may be a bug on this version that you are using here. From Active Topics, I go to this thread, but when I hit the link to page 1, it stays on page 2. It works correctly from outside of Active Topics.

Great, thanks.
