I only downloaded the 3.5 src, copied the files into it and recompile, without checking this because I haven't such an environment.

Don't know if the yaf 3.5 release have had a bug like this, than my dll has this, too

Yes, the attachments will not be shown in the edit page, but next to the edit button, there's another one for the attachments There you can add and remove attachments for your post

This image(s) are maybe too large to display.
Even without preview images yaf doesn't show images that are larger than ~250KB.

You can modify the value in Administration - Host Settings - Picture Attachment Display Treshold.

That I have already seen a few times, but I don't know what causes this.
You should be able to rename this file to .zip and extract it again.

Just for my interests, anyone else have this problem?

Funny, I have downloaded both files and verified the archives content, everything should be fine

I used IE8 for download, IZArc for archive test. Win internal zip can open them, too.
A friend of me has verified it, too (usig firefox & winrar)

Update. This is my bug and has nothing to do with the activeusers.ascx.cs

I have updated the files, and also (for those that have problems with the download) I added a mirror in the first post.

This modification will only affect attached images, no img tags or avatar images. Of course it should be possible, but I don't want to do it, sorry

The 'search results will be loaded' dialog will never disappear, at least using ie8. Search function is therefore useless. See attachment.

Also my attached image will destroy forum layout (too large), but it seems to be connived in here . . .
Edit: another also... search requires 2 submits to work if javascript is disabled/disallowed

I don't know it exactly but the space between < and network may cause problems
