Hi,
I'm Using version 1.9.3 of yaf and I want to store crear passwords because I need to do an intigration with another system.
So I chached this in the web.config
<add connectionStringName="yafnet" applicationName="YetAnotherForum" name="YafMembershipProvider" requiresUniqueEmail="true" useSalt="true" passwordHex="false" passwordFormat="Clear" minRequiredNonalphanumericCharacters="0" type="YAF.Providers.Membership.YafMembershipProvider"/>

The difference is I added:
 passwordFormat="Clear" minRequiredNonalphanumericCharacters="0"

but nothing changes.
Does someone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

minRequiredNonAlphanumericCharacters (capitalise the A)

When I post FP:Mek in a topic, I'm leaving my footprint there so I can track it once I get into coding/supporting. (Yes I stole this off Ederon 🙂 )

Thanks,

That works For the which are not allowed. But my passwordFormat is stil encrypted.
I don't think I'm doing something wrong in the web.config because when I change the de value "passwordFormat" I get an error.
So I think this should actually work.

Can you help me also with this problem?

Edit:
Actually it works, I was only looking into the wrong table "user" insteat of "prev_membership"
