We now have an error. When we try to backup our DB to a development server we get:

'The file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\FTData\YafSearch' cannot be overwritten. It is being used by database 'axiom3d.

When we contacted our host he told us this:

I tried to restore your database backup in the server and obtained the same issue. I found that your backup set contains 3 files named db201014441, db201014441_log and sysft_Search, and sysft_Search is the one that cause the error. May I clarify how you made the backup set?

My question is, if this is a clean server, we nothing in use could it be effecting our DB if someone else on the shared host has this? I guess I am not sure where to go from here for this.

we are on 1.9.1.8 and any help would be greatly appreciated if you might know or have seen this.

Thanks,

Don

Just restore without FULLTEXT:

After the DB is restored you can run the fulltext script again (which will create the index again) if you want.
