Hello all,

I am trying to install YAF on my new server (Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition)

When I open my forum I get an error 500 by IIS, I tried to set CustomErrors to Off, but it does not change the message.
So far, I found out, that there is a problem with the .config files.
When I rename the web.config to something else I get a real ASP.Net error message (ApplicationException, web.config has not been found).

I downloaded yaf 1.9.1.8 and did not change anything in the.config files, I just renamed default.config to web.config
On my Server .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 is running

What can I do? Is there a way to analyze web.config problems?

Thanks for any answers in advance Smile

There are no problems with 2k8 and YAF (this is what I dev on).
You made sure you've installed .NET 2.0 Framework (Requirement) and make sure your web application is set to work to .NET 2.0 and not 3.5.

"It's a case of RTFM.. the only problem being we don't have a manual!"

When I post FP:Mek in a topic, I'm leaving my footprint there so I can track it once I get into coding/supporting. (Yes I stole this off Ederon Smile )
