I've followed the instructions on the wiki in creating my own theme. It appears on the front page, with the banner, and I see the correct theme name on the bottom of the page. If I go to view a specific forum, it goes back to the "ASPNET Theme" - I see that on the bottom of the page. This is also true for topic view, new reply, new topic, etc.
I've got the correct theme selected in the Admin Control Panel and I have the banner option checked. I have not made any changes to the default.aspx, aside from including the <img> for the banner (from alt.aspx). I've searched this forum and haven't seen this problem.
Any thoughts on where I can go next? Debugging doesn't seem to help as I never hit breakpoints. Thanks!

Yes it does. Pages that seem to use the selected theme: Front / Forum list / default page Inbox Admin Search Moderate Active Topics All Profile pages Members Pages that ignore the selected theme: Topic browse page (Forum selected from front/forum list page) Topic thread view page Topic reply page Post New Topic page Seems to be a consistent pattern - whenever I am dealing with a single forum/topic page, it ignores the theme selected. Note: I selected Chrome as my alternative theme. My theme is based on SoClean. Thanks! MichaelS

Well it sounds like the theme management code has been altered? Did you do any other mods to YAF? .....the man in black fled across the desert..........and the gunslinger followed.....

This is a clean install, we're evaluating the software for use with our product/software support. So we're running on a test server right now. The only modification I've done was to alter the default.aspx page to have the <img> for the forum banner. Anything I can look for in the code that might indicate an alteration? Would it make sense to just download/install a "fresh" copy? I'm running latest version. MichaelS

I hate not knowing, so I dug around the code a bit and it led me to the yaf_forum table. Apparently, when I changed the site theme, the change did not propagate to the individual forums. Is this because they had their settings overridden on the theme type for each forum? I went into the database, nulled out the ThemeURL and now all is well. That's what I get for inheriting someone else's project that they abandoned 4 months ago. Thanks! MichaelS
