I'm moving YAF server(s) this week to a new colocation host. That means that some features of this site (probably the Wiki and Test forum) will be offline. Also... I might not get email for a few days. Random things may not work, etc. Everything should be back in place by next week. "Don't take life too seriously; no one gets out of it alive." -- Elbert Hubbard

UPDATE: YAF's new abode has been setup and will be shipped next day to it's new stomping grounds in California today. Expect downtime late Thursday through Saturday. "Don't take life too seriously; no one gets out of it alive." -- Elbert Hubbard

UPDATE: Server will be delivered Friday but current hosting goes off TODAY. So... This site will be down for about 24 hours -- possibily more. "Don't take life too seriously; no one gets out of it alive." -- Elbert Hubbard

Good luck with the setup Jaben.
When I post FP:Ederon in a topic, I'm leaving my footprint there so I can track it once I get into coding/supporting.

Obviously... We're back up and running! EDIT: If there is any random weirdness please let me know -- it's a completely reconfigured server so there is bound to be a permission issue here or a wrong path there... Thanks! "Don't take life too seriously; no one gets out of it alive." -- Elbert Hubbard

The YAF doomsday clock almost hit 12:00 here thanks to the terrible software called "ZoneAlarm" which actually caused an entire server installation to blue screen on startup. Thankfully, a KVM and a some great support from my new colocation company, RippleWeb I was able to get into Safe Mode and removed the scourge that is ZoneAlarm. All is well now. Zone Alarm is the devil. Well, okay. Maybe that was a bit strong. No, on second thought, I was right the first time.

I have to agree... just terrible. In their defense it did say on install "this is an unsupported OS". But the warning should be more specific: "This doesn't WORK on this OS" "Don't take life too seriously; no one gets out of it alive." -- Elbert Hubbard
