Any update on 1.9.3? Still hoping to have a RC in July/Aug? Just looking for a vague time line as I am developing a new community site and deciding if I will be using YAF (the .net membership/role provider integration would be very useful)

Just wanted to say that this is the best forum option I have seen for asp.net. Thank you for your hard work!

Eagerly awaiting 1.9.3 so I can integrate using the Membership, Roles, Profile features of .NET 2.0. Any new ETA on the release?

I would be happy to work with the code as it exists since I will ultimatly be doing some integration work with the existing Membership stuff that is already in the site (for instance so there is not 2 Membership edit pages and the Forum and the standard stuff is integrated). So testing and working on existing code would be most helpful.

I noticed there is nothing checked in for 1.9.3 and wondered when even an alpha build might even be put up in SVN.

How do you mean it?

You have to build yourself. There are no binaries in SVN.

Sorry I did not know that 1.9.3 was the current build. I thought it was spec and would be in its own branch. I grabed the current code and it built! So I will be checking it out -

Thanks

It's not available through 'download', but via 'SVN' (Subversion).

Thanks for the reply,

Does it mean we can't download 1.9.3? Cause I couldn't find neither under SVN. it says: "The CVS repository has been backed up and taken offline."

You can browse SVN repository through web or use SVN client like TortoiseSVN to connect to it (https://yafdotnet.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/yafdotnet/trunk/yafsrc - current working version, future 1.9.3).

Thank you very much finally I got itSmile

By the way now I have to integrate this application into mine, with my membership and so.. I can see a lot of people do the same (or try to do the same) but I can't browse the forum, it returns an error. Could anyone please direct me to the right discussion?

Thanks

When? On compilation or during runtime? If latter, where does it pop up?
