Not sure what it is in C#, but I use HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.Name.ToString in VB. I'm sure it's very similar. HTH .....the man in black fled across the desert..........and the gunslinger followed.....

thank you, but I ment to the forum user and not to the system user.
I got it by now, but I still have some problems to load it to the main page.

The best way is to use Membership.GetUser();
