Ok i am having this problem i Downloaded a bunch of Random Avatars people can use. Not sure if I am adding the pictures to the right directory. I put the Pictures i want to use in the Avatar Collection in the sub folder in my FTP so Domain name > Forums > Images > Avatars. now that there in there. I go to create a new account and when i try to use them nothing shows up when i click the button on the profile page that says Select your Avatar from our Collection: [ Click Here to Select an Avatar ]. Anyone have a clue how i fix this and if they can explain to me how to do it i would love that. I also made the Avatar size 300x300 and made the file size 1000000 so idunno what else to do

You need to make a directory off of the Avatar directory and put all the avatars in there.

That was pretty rude. I'm always amazed at the impudence and impatience of those who are asking for free help on a free forum related to free software.

Well, I thought the lack of a thank you was the more rude thing...

Of course, the original sin is not doing a search to answer his problem.

Hawk, great. Now, realize the beauty of the way this is built. By creating different folders with different categorized names, you can present your avatars to forum users by type!

E.g.

Cars
Nature
Anime
Toons
etc.

First of all, THANKS! You guys made me look like a genius. My forum is at www.seniorcareofbrevard.com/forum.

Now my problem, I've spent the better part of 2 days researching the problems associated with Avatars. I have put them in a separate folder (thanks for that bit of info). And I can get the avatar if I download it from my computer (turned off remote). But I am still getting a red "X" when I try to get one from the "click here to get an avatar" - All the folders show up and all the pics within the folders - that's the good news. I just can't get it to transfer over to the "modify avatar" page.

Any help would be appreciated.
