suddenly getting this error in development (not on the production server) when I log in as administrators and click on the admin link:

Sorry, apparently the best thing about posting here is that you figure out the problem shortly thereafter. I had copied the profile provider directly for the recommended.config which doesn't work it needs to be named "CustomizedProfileProvider" .I forgot to change it in the development config and didn't notice until days later (just yesterday).

Thank you!!! I don't know if I would have gotten past that final hurtle had I not found your post!!! One question... if it breaks the admin page, why is this is the recommended settings?
