I don't have access to a 1and1 account -- I have no way to test. I just installed YAF on DiscountASP and no problems there. If someone is willing to help me test, I could probably figure out what's going wrong with it...

I believe its the strongly signed project problem with 1 & 1

When I post FP:Mek in a topic, I'm leaving my footprint there so I can track it once I get into coding/supporting. (Yes I stole this off Ederon 🙂 )

Jaben drop me your e-mail ( I send details in your e-mail ), I'll give you information to 1and1 account.

Mek - not it is not signed problem, I check on my local server, I changed level of trust, and resign new key, everything working fine.
Problems probably in different , the builds are screwed, some dll related to old .NET some to 3.5, especially AJAX toolkit.
I think somebidy should try to make build on VS2008 with last one AJAX toolkit. under 2.0 and then under 3.5/ Another part is references.
somebody should try to cleanup cash on VS ( or on fresh VM install VS 2008 ) then download source and try to build solution and web site.
You'll see what I'm talking about.

AN nay way my respect you you Jaben ! really great job. Sure that you surfing skills has same level like coding 🙂

Fair enough, I believe Jabens already made some in-roads into cleaning up the project in regards to 2.0 and 3.5.

Edit:

You're thread: http://forum.yetanotherf...ionNameYetAnotherFo.aspx

Looks exactly like the other 1&1 errors which were caused by not using a Strongly Signed Project. Did you get past that element?

On my local server, I reduce trust level from FULL to "Half". reinstall YAF, and it is still working. I sure that problem not with YAF but with 1and1, but before kick there "acces" I want to be sure that I d't miss an anything. 1and1 have good hardware and speed, therefore I want to keep them. If you belive that this error related to strong name , could you please recompile solution with delay signature and "Mark assemlies..." then I'll try to install this on 1and1 and let you knwo if this is working

About trust levels for zones. I tried to reproduce same error, with changing rust levels for all zones and d't get this errors.
Now my local server working in low level for inernet, and forum still working
Probably some restriction in assembly?
