File Upload restarts from 0% after about 5 minutes or after about 14Mb uploaded. It restarts one time and goes again to 5 minutes/14Mb and after this it gives Page Timeout message! This issue is encountered when uploading files over 30Mb!

Web.config: <httpRuntime requestValidationMode="2.0" maxRequestLength="2097152"/>
Server .NET Framework: .NET 4.0

If you get an Timeout increase the execution Timeout value in the web.config

<httpRuntime requestValidationMode="2.0" executionTimeout="900" maxRequestLength="2097152"/>

Thank you for the reply I have tried this before, I've got it up to 6000 - executionTimeout="6000" and I still get the same behaviour. You can check it out, maybe it's something I forgot to set up. .

@valyb,

I'm with Go Daddy and came across your post.

Have you been able to successfully update the timeout increase?

I would like to assist you further. Feel free to reply or send me a private message with additional details and I will be more than happy to look into this for you.

I have solved the issue finally by my own. Since it's iis 7 which limits file upload to 30MB, I had to add the maxAllowedContentLength attribute.

If anybody else has this issue just add in the web.config file:

<system.webserver>
<security>
<requestFiltering>
<requestLimits maxAllowedContentLength="2147483648"></requestLimits>
</requestFiltering>
</security>
</system.webserver>

SOLVED.
