Hi.

I'm currently working on a YAF solution in localhost, where i don't have a user with admin rights. There is one, but i don't have access to it. Another company worked on it before me, and i'm not able to get in contact with them.

So i need a way to give my own user admin rights, maybe through one of the tables in the YAF sql database? I tried to give one user admin rights, by changing the GroupID in dbo.yaf_UserGroup of that user, to the ID of the admin group. (I think this is "1" ).

It worked earlier. But now i don't really know what happened.

Anyone know a working method to do this?

Thanks-

Use ...Membership table direct editing. You can set the password in clear text. Look for ASP.NET Membership provider for details.
