I am worried after reading some posts here about upgrading. I am currently running 1.9.1.7 on godaddy. It was installed through their system and not manually. Looks like the only way to upgrade it is manually. I don't want to lose anything. First, which version should I upgrade to? Second, is there an "Upgrade for Dummies" anywhere? Thanks in advance!!!!

Is your site just YAF, or is it integrated with another site?

If it's just YAF, the read me that is included in the SRC files are pretty strong. I run my host through GoDaddy, so I recommend backing up the database, then downloading it from their FTP, restoring it locally, and then doing the upgrade locally. Once you feel comfortable with it, then jump back on the production site and rock it out. 😂
